FLORENCE CAPITAL
(About 2 hours)

Piazza della Repubblica > Duomo area > Piazzale Michelangelo

Not everyone knows that Florence was the capital of Italy from 1865 to 1871. The city that we can visit today was largely rebuilt at that time. We decided to organize a special tour for that period of the life of the city, a period which is not famous but very interesting and charming, walking through the places where the great transformations took place: from Piazza della Repubblica to the area around the Cathedral, and going up the staircases that lead to Piazzale Michelangelo, with its marvelous view over the city.
